Quinoa Flakes with Pluots and Cinnamon

Although we're in the warmest week of our summer, I can't get enough of my hot cereal lately. It's comforting and filling and the perfect treat after my morning workout. And after all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day (and my favorite meal). I think it's so important that I usually have two breakfasts. Is that a problem? I think not.

Recharging

​This month has been filled with lots of travel and catching up with old friends. It has been a whirlwind and I must admit that I haven't been in the kitchen much. It's great to be home now and I can't wait to start cooking again but was nice to step away from our everyday life to take a moment to recharge.

The unofficial start of summer is upon us and the weather around here has turned...colder. I keep seeing these great light dishes, perfect for your weekend potlucks but all I can think about is soup! I'm craving those comfort dishes that make me feel all cozy inside.
